<spoiler>Turns out that '''Masaru Danno''' is part of the robbery plan. Danno distracted the police with "a bomb inside the bulding" story, while his accomplices robbed Kaneko Jewerly. The proof is there was no bump on the back of his head which should appear as the result of him got struck. Conan, who found that suspicious, had placed a transmitter on Danno's motorcycle.

Arriving at the location where Danno's motorcycle is parked, they find Danno lying unconscious on the floor.
