Tables for Staff pages

@Bobo. Saw the table. Looks nice. I didn't think about putting 'em in before because it's just a pain to edit for me (I like the writing part of Wiki better than the editing/formatting part lol ? ^^). It's gonna look cleaner with the tables and more aired out (although it's gonna inflate the page size a bit, which sucks) and if you're down for it, go for it. Never thought of using ChatGPT. I think the hitch arose from me, since I changed the wikitable format faintly, which is not exactly the same as the Conanpedia one (the intention was to save lines). Chinese Cover

Hey! Actually made a mistake. It's volume 103 that's missing a cover and if you can, the cover for volume 100 special edition as well. I know the special edition has a special cover as I've seen them on Bilibili but the quality is not amazing. Just thinking if you can find some scanned versions that would be better. I'm not too sure about it either but some user added the infobox for volume 103 and said it was gonna be released in June 2024 in China so dunno if it was actually released or not. If you don't find it, it's fine. Hey Nakamura :), I also agree with you, but you see, the article has some missing Japanese titles and wrongly-linked wikipedia entries but I can't help it. I don't know if the biography thing has the references stuff as I can't access wikipedia so I checked Baidu Wiki (their mechanism sucks: they remove edit history for new editors and entries usually lack references). Some trivial remarks

1. That's...okay...I'll see if that can be improved. (Update: Actually that doesn't need improvement, because upon rejogging my memory, that was exactly what I was going to do.)
3. Sorry to be agitating you, but I wanted to get all my bases covered before proceeding :) I'm writing an outline for the article first though.
4. The seconds counter probably won't work, since by theory you would need to purge the page every second. I'll just do it anyway for the sake of it, you never know if we get a MediaWiki update that allows us to purge certain pages automatically every second (or does this method exist already?)
5. Sure, but I wonder why we don't use the DCW Forum for this...
6. The template updates every time you purge the main page/template. By the way, how do you know if your update works if you still need to wait every hour for it to update?

Great! You are absolutely correct on the fact that even if the #time built-in function of MediaWiki is utilised for the Template:Did you know purging is still a must for the updating to happen. I think the #switch function is also not dynamic and causes the issue. But I have observed it switching every 2-3 hours? Probably because the wiki's cache cleared automatically, but that's the point of the template, so I am quite satisfied; for now, let us keep it as it is. (I will adapt some lines of the did you know's as some of them are a bit outdated)
Normally, Nakamura and Jefflie are more active than me, but right now it seems that they are also somewhat busy which creates this illuson to you, possibly lol.
What is more, I did not mean to offend you with the word "agitated". I apologise if my use of English vocab is inaccurate. To tell you the truth, I used to drive my English teacher crazy whenever I wrote some text for evaluation. Yes, I also saw the Did you know's updating themselves, except whenever I manually purge the Main page, they update again. (a bit of lag in the cache updating, possibly?). (A reply to what you wrote on my talk page) I think there is some minor misunderstanding here. I could partially agree with "There is absolutely no need to intentionally find faults just to convince other people," but the whole reason why I "found your faults" was because I want to be clear in my work. To be transparent. And not just go in and replace other people's work while leaving them in the clouds of what on earth I'm doing and why I'm doing it.
That's how I've been from the start, as you might recall from our "Cipher" or "Cypher"? discussion, I didn't just go in and replace "cypher" with "cipher" because there might be some conflict about whether this wiki is supposed to use British English or American English.
And now with this...this template...this time, I didn't want to surprise you by replacing your work with mine without giving a reason.
The error I was referring to in this edit can no longer be seen because I updated the template, and I know that. You're now going to see "Expression error: Unexpected < operator."; that's not what I wanted you to notify you of, and neither is this expression error the reason for replacing your template. What I wanted you to see was this note in that edit's summary: "For some reason, the image didn't show, going to have to implement my method to fix it."
What happened was only "Kaitou Kid and the Crown Trick (Part 2)" got displayed, not the image, and I think (only a thought, I could be wrong) this has to do with how the episode was a Part 2, not a Part 1, thus it is not the first episode of the case and your elaborate code in Template:LE failed to compensate for this, where it could not find and display the corresponding case's image. And for some reason, the placeholder Joke Card didn't show either. I thought that this would be a good enough reason to go ahead and replace your template with mine without any peer review (which is what I was concurrently requesting you at the time)
And now, as I'm writing this, I've realized that I've initially lacked transparency in telling you about this. I hope you will understand, and allow me to apologize to you for this. --Avico (talk) 22:57, 26 January 2025 (UTC)
