In Detective Conan he voices Detective Kazunobu Chiba, as well as many one-time and minor characters.

  • Just as Chiba's Kazunobu Chiba is friends with Wataru Takagi's Wataru Takagi character, Takagi and Chiba played best friends Eikichi Onizuka and Ryuji Danma in the anime Great Teacher Onizuka.
  • Chiba and the late Kaneto Shiozawa (Inspector Shiratori's first voice) have both played the character Rei from Fist of the North Star (Shiozawa in the original TV anime and Chiba in the 2005 arcade game). They had also both voiced the character Dio Brando in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure before.
