The killing weapon was a very thin sewing needle, which Nishitani hid in his fountain pen. When the trick to turn the lights on worked, he took it out and swiftly pierced Uemori's lung with it, knowing that due to her respiratory problems she would soon die. To not harm his fingers, he used a ring to push the needle further, and then took it out pulling the string tied to it; this was easily seen when it turned out Nishitani was the only person among the suspects wearing a ring in his fingers. | The killing weapon was a very thin sewing needle, which Nishitani hid in his fountain pen. + | During the resolution, Conan actually makes a mistake that no one notices. When he's going through the process of how Nishitani is the killer (speaking with his bow-tie), he mentioned how Nishitani mistook Ran for Yuuko in the corridor when she went to the toilet but Mouri stayed in the kitchen. There was no way for him to know/remember something he did not witness and so clearly the only other person who knew that was little Conan. | ||
