Just after the suspects talk about Uryu's suicide, they see a house on fire from the window of the apartment building, and realize it is Kishimoto's house. As the Sato and Takagi arrive there, Inspector Yuminaga who first arrived tells them that it was completely burned, but the cause of death doesn't seem to have been the fire, since it didn't react to it. • The anime adds some flashback scenes:
    • The scene when the group is searching for Genda is longer in the anime, thus some dialougue are added.

    Trivia

    • Star Donut logo is a reference to manga series Urusei Yatsura by Rumiko Takahashi, in which both logo has the kanji 星 with a star in it[citation needed].
