Resolution
The culprit is Rokusuke Urasawa. He mistook that he have murdered Takenaka through a blunt trauma and afraid of serving long prison terms, he decided to rob the temple then intentionally knock himself unconscious with the bells. After being so desperate, he prayed and offered 200k yen--which he stole from Takenaka, in hopes of forgiveness. He believed that charged with a robbery would be a minor offense and shorten his release, but nonetheless he confesses with Takagi's disapproval.
Trivia
- During the conte section that takes place after the next episode preview Genta and Conan speak (mostly) in English.
- Apparently the Detective Boys live near two shrines: The Teitan Temple, and they go to Teitan Elementary School, and the Beika Temple, and they live in Beika.
- Teitan Temple appears to be more run down and poor, in contrast to Beika, where may worshippers pay homeage at.
- This is the first time that Conan, using Megure's voice, called Takagi, in order to boost his self-esteem, and help him to crack the case.
