Michiyo Sakurai (櫻井 美知代 ,Sakurai Michiyo) is a Japanese screenplay writer and storyboard artist. She also used the alias Chika Ichimaru (市丸 知佳 ,Ichimaru Chika) from 2000 until her retirement from Detective Conan in 2004.

According to Sakurai's Twitter, she has left her job as an animator since 2014.
