Intrigue at Morikawa Mansion (森川御殿の陰謀 Morikawa Goten no Inbō ) is the 1050th and 1051st episode of the Detective Conan anime.

Part 1
Kogoro, Ran, and Conan are invited by Yuzan Morikawa to a remote island under Tokyo jurisdiction, where Morikawa mansion is located. Yuzan, whose body has been consumed by late-stage cancer, asks Kogoro to help him and his lawyer, Hiroki Oi, rewriting the will, and to select one person that is worthy of inheriting his legacy.
Later, the group have a small tour around the mansion, lead by chief butler Yuka Shito. While they are looking at the tank room, they meet the first son Yuichiro, who is researching a new flavor for the soft serve. After that, they go to reception room, where they meet the second son Yujiro, and the third son Yuzaburo. However, it seems that the siblings always having a fight over the inheritance.
When it is dinner time, Yujiro doesn't show up. At fisrt, nothing feels wrong. After dinner, Oi reminds the whole group that the will shall be rewritten tomorrow afternoon. However, both Yujiro and Yuzaburo doesn't show up during breakfast. The others decide to check their rooms. Yujiro is not found in his room. Meanwhile, they found Yuzaburo lying dead in his room.

Oi stops Kogoro from calling the police, as it will be considered a breach of contract. However, he allows Kogoro to investigate the case. Conan also investigate, and even ask Yuzan some questions. He later return to their room, where Ran is thinking to have another soft serve. However, the machine is not working. Fortunately, Yuka come in and fix the machine. Suddenly, along with the soft serve, there is also some red-color stuff coming out from the machine. Conan then realized there is "something" in the soft serve tank.
Part 2
Yujiro's body is found inside the soft serve tank.

Oi then reveals that he secretly call the police as he predicted that the police will arrive after the will has been rewritten. Yuichiro express his fear as his brothers had been killed and he is clearly the next. He then decides to return to his room.
Kogoro, Conan, and Ran return to their room and discuss the identity of the culprit. Meanwhile, Yuichiro successfully make a new flavor of the soft serve. He goes to the roof and enjoy the soft serve. He is very happy with the flavor, and with him being the only one alive, he will get all the inheritance. However, a loud sound is heard, and Yuichiro fall into the backyard. He got one shot through the heart from behind and died instantly.

Conan deduces the postion of the shooter, and later finds a rifle lying inside the tool room. He also smell something familiar. Conan then ask Yuka to show him Yuichiro's room. After investigating the room, Conan knows what happened.
