Masayoshi Sato
Masayoshi Sato (佐藤 正義 Satou Masayoshi ) was the father of Miwako Sato. He was a Senior Superintendent (Rank 4) in the Tokyo MPD before he died on duty, trying to stop a criminal. His death affected his family deeply. He is voiced by Toru Okawa.
Inspector Sato
Inspector Sato is a Tokyo Metropolitan Police Officer who appeared briefly in the manga as a gag.[2] He is a burly middle aged man, a smoker, with a beard, buzz cut and widow's peak. Takagi volunteered to go on a stakeout with Sato, expecting to be working with a different Sato. Upon discovering the mistake, Takagi and Sato remarked that Sato is a common family name.

Chosuke Takagi
Chosuke Takagi (高木 長介 Takagi Chōsuke ) is a police detective in plain clothes and Inspector Megure's senior by two years. He was moved from Tokyo to Tottori in order to investigate a large crime syndicate there.
Chosuke first appeared in MPD Case 6, in which the other Tokyo police thought Wataru Takagi was being sent to Tottori. Chosuke investigated a crime with Miwako Sato and Wataru Takagi that involved a friend of Kazunobu Chiba's. After the case was solved, Takagi found out that it was Chosuke being sent to Tottori and not him. Chosuke was shown to be very aggressive at times in an investigation. Once he grabbed Chiba by the collar and slammed him against the wall just to ask him for confirmation to a question. He is also very efficient at investigating, taking notice of minor details and connecting the dots rather quickly. He suspected Chiba of lying to protect his friend in the first case he appeared in, because he believed that as a police detective he had to suspect everyone no matter how good they are. He is voiced by Takko Ishimori.

Osamu Narasawa (奈良沢修 Narasawa Osamu ), age 48, is an Assistant Chief Inspector in plain clothes from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, Division One Investigations. He was killed by Doctor Kyosuke Kazato in a serial murder case. He appears in Captured in Her Eyes.
Toshiro Odagiri
Toshiro Odagiri (小田切 敏郎 Odagiri Toshirō ), age 56, is known as Superintendent Osterman in the FUNimation dub. He is a Chief Superintendent in the Tokyo Police as of The Lost Ship in the Sky, though it is not fully clear if he had this rank or was only the Chief of the Criminal Investigations Division in Captured in Her Eyes. Not much is known about Odagiri but he has a son, Toshiya Odagiri. Toshiro Odagiri seems to be a very strict person which may be because of his strict upbringing. He spares no hesitation to suspect his son of murder, which shows he is very dedicated to his job. He is also a good swordsman, as Conan notices his sword style in the fourth movie.

He appears in The Lost Ship in the Sky, where he gave the press conference along with Chief Superintendent Toshiro Odagiri regarding the explosion in the lab containing a deadly bacteria, and in a flashback about fifteen years and one month ago in Detective Takagi Finds 30 Million Yen, when he was younger and investigated about Toshiyuki Hiranuma, one of the main suspects in a robbery and murder case. In the movie he dresses in police uniform, while in the episode in plain clothes and with a winter coat, so probably he was not yet Senior Superintendent.

The Detective Boys informed him it wasn't a suicide attempt, nor was in an accident, and someone pushed him off the roof. So he called the Tokyo Metropolitan Police to inform them the accidental fall that was reported earlier may have been a murder attempt. He took the man driver's license and gave them name, age, and address.
In the end of movie 20 he charges on his ambulance Curaçao's death body.
In the beginning of episode 841, he visits Toshiaki Kikuchi, an unemployed injured in a car accident. He reports to Inspector Megure that he cut the inside of his mouth, but he seems to have no other injuries, then should be no problem if Megure and Takagi wanted to inspect the scene with him. His two coworkers charge the death body of Naohiro Tsutsumi on the ambulance.
