Tome (トメ ), most commonly referred to as Officer Tome, and less commonly Tome-san, is a character in the anime version of Detective Conan.
Contents
Background
Tome is a CSI member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police, and is often seen investigating the crime scene during cases where Juzo Megure is the head inspector. Tome is an anime only character and, unlike Wataru Takagi, Ninzaburo Shiratori, and Kazunobu Chiba, has never appeared in the manga. He only made sporadic and scattered appearances in the show, but starting with the season 17, Tome's role has increased heavily, appearing more frequently.
Personality
Officer Tome seems to be very passionate with his work. He, like many other policemen, listen to what Conan Edogawa has to say, although Conan sometimes says something like: "Mouri wants you to check up on this", or "Mouri asks if this was found". This is to asks him about forensic evidence he has collected, and Tome is often happy to answer.
